Disorder, unpredictability, and lack of control are normal parts of the transition process, and yet very stressful and many times an unpleasant experience. Transitions cause disruptions in our lives and divert our focus from our daily activities. As difficult as the feelings of turmoil are, they serve as an indicator that change is called for and that a more complex level of order is likely to evolve.
